You wouldn’t drive a car without airbags, would you ride an eBike without knowing it was certifiably tested? We’ve been asking ourselves this question over the last several years and came to the conclusion: Absolutely not.
Over the past decade, we’ve worked with a lot of e-bike companies, and Bosch is the motor system we trust most for safety testing and long-term support. In a fast-growing industry with few rules, we feel we owe our customers bikes we can stand behind.
That’s why Bosch powers many of the bikes on our floor, though it’s no longer the only system we carry, and some of our bikes now have a throttle. There are plenty of good e-bikes out there, and we stick to the ones we can support for the long haul.
