What is Propel’s warranty policy?

One of the most common questions we get is with regards to the bike’s warranty.  What is the warranty?  What is covered?  More importantly, what is not covered, and why?

Propel’s warranty policy differs for each component on the bike; the electrical systems hold a 2-year warranty. For the frame, it varies but is usually 5 years or more (although sometimes less, like 2). The fork warranty is typically 2 years as well.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or not being used enough are not covered under warranty. Manufacturers’ defects and electrical faults in the battery, motor, and electrical system are covered. Warranties are always handled on a case-by-case basis (hence, why they are referred to as “Warranty Cases”), and so it is difficult to create hard and fast rules by which the manufacturers, and our technicians, make determinations of eligibility, but we always strive to do right by our customers and help out when possible.
